Brief description of project:

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) sponsored to the government of Vietnam by the Loan Agreement No. 2609-VIE (SF) was signed between Vietnam and ADB on 2/2/2010 a credit for project of Water supply and Sanitation rural the Central area. The project was implemented in six provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Nam and Binh Dinh with 5 components included: Water supply, improve public sanitation and household; Awareness sanitation; capacity planning and implementation; improve of project management.

The specific objective of the project is to provide clean water and improve sanitation for 350,000 rural population in 06 provinces; Increase knowledge and awareness to the people about the use of clean water and sanitation, improving local community capacity to participate in planning and management of infrastructure projects. Total investment for this project is $ 50 million, which is $ 45 million ODA counterpart fund of 5 million USD. The project will be implemented in the 6 years between 2010 and 2016. The project is of great significance to six central provinces and it is the opportunity for 6 provinces to complete their target on water and environmental sanitation in rural area.

Consultant contractor scope of works:

Reporting of construction investment project, making the basic design drawing and submit for approval the upgrade and expand water supply system project at Tien Loc commune Hau Locdistrict, Thanh Hoa province in accordance with the requirements of the investor and the sponsor.

Provide detail calculations and drawings, quantity, price in the calculation of total investment.

Defend the investment report to sponsor.
