Project brief description:

Urban Upgrading Project Haiphong component of the project is Urban Upgrading Project Vietnam (VUUP), a total of about $ 40 million estimate includes 6 items such as: 1) Upgrading of infrastructure 3, 2): Upgrading infrastructure level 1 &2; 3) housing and resettlement; 4) Housing Management; 5) funds for housing rehabilitation loans; 6) Capacity Building.

Under item 6, the sub-project 6.3.2 "Planning media, mass marketing, propaganda campaigns and participate in IEC (information, education and communication), common projects" are designed to support the implementation of the relevant officials of the Management Board, wards, districts, and public organizations to plan activities to raise awareness of the masses in low-income areas and provide provide essential services for the implementation of media campaigns, seminars, flyers, as well as information, communication and education (IEC) to help hold them in contact with effective community more.

The main objective of the subproject 6.3.2 is encouraging broad participation in planning, implementing and then maintaining the infrastructure will be provided by the planning and design relations campaign public media. In addition to this primary goal, there are further objectives such as preparation of documents for public relations, planning and organizing local meetings, producing videos and other promotional products.
